- SA: Added “Ext_TogglePlayerAutoDrive” so external scripts can apply AI correction including for the player driving. Useful for auto-drive scripts.
RTF is an .asi mod that actually fixes the traffic AI in GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City.

- Forces the use of real physics on all cars in the game , thus fixing several bugs involving unrealistic movement. Cars will now have natural suspension and wheel movements.
- Intelligent obstacle detection that predicts the direction the vehicle is heading and understands drastic changes in the path (such as the beginning and end of hills).
- You can enable a test mode that displays various information above each vehicle, including collision detection lines. Similar to what Rockstar North used during the development of GTA SA. Useful for configuring the mod.
- Vehicles accelerate when possible, so each car feels more natural at different speeds.
- Vehicles slow down on curves.
- [SA] Prevents vehicles from changing lanes in front of you.
- [SA] Large, slow-moving vehicles, such as trucks, buses and tractors, only drive in the right lane.
- [SA] Bicycles use the logic of motorcycles, so they also avoid obstacles (something that should be standard in the game).
- Option to enable motorcycle logic in cars. It works fine in most cases, but not at intersections. Disabled by default.
- Fixes vehicles stuck in the ground (original game bug; doesn't always work).
- Reduce the number of honking horns and traffic complaints.
- [SA] You can disable bicycles by honking in traffic (it's pointless).
- [SA] You can make bicycles cross red lights.
- [SA] Adaptation for speed bump mods, like Brazilian Speed Bumps (still with limitations). Cars slow down when approaching one.
- All configurable in one .ini file.
Check out a good video presentation on YouTube Shorts here.
Even though the mod does so much, it's lightweight and minimally intrusive to the game. It doesn't replace any of the AI, it's just a supplement. Therefore, it will rarely cause issues or incompatibilities.
